Changing lives, societies and national economies by improving vision

Vision for a Nation is an unprecedented initiative to provide nationwide access to eye care and affordable glasses in well-run emerging and low-income nations around the world.

We work closely with government to provide universal access through fully sustainable, nationwide primary eye care programmes to transform the lives of millions of people, and the national economies of which they are a part.

Our first nationwide programme is underway in Rwanda, where we are working in close alliance with the Ministry of Health to support the establishment of primary eye care services that are sustainably integrated into the nation’s own healthcare system.
