Improving Sight, Changing Lives

Vision for a Nation is a small charity with a big vision. We think that everyone, no matter where they come from, should be able to access eye care and affordable glasses.

An estimated 2.5 billion people suffer from uncorrected poor vision. Vision for a Nation is working to change this.

In the first programme of its kind we are helping the Government of Rwanda to train nurses in every health centre across the country to provide front-line eye care and affordable glasses.

We are innovating to build an integrated, self-sustaining local eye care service in Rwanda that will continue to help people long after we’re gone. And we’re taking our model to other countries around the world.

Support us today to change lives.
